WinstantPay privacy policy
This privacy policy governs how we handle data provided by our customers and their users.

User Provided Information

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to establish the requirements and procedures for the protection of customer and general user privacy rights and their individually identifiable information in our possession in accordance with relevant Australian, Canadian and U.S. laws and regulations and with the Safe Harbor Privacy Principles developed by the U.S. Department of Commerce, in collaboration with the European Commission(“EC”) and the General Data protection guidelines (the “GDPR”)

As a regulated financial institution we use your data to screen against sanctions and other lists relating to law enforcement and regulatory requirements.

WinstantPay is committed to individual privacy, and we recognize the responsibility we have to protect the privacy rights of all persons whose Personal Data are within our custody and management. WinstantPay’s privacy policy is expressed in the following five basic principles:

We will not intentionally gather or maintain Personal Data that is not relevant to us in conducting our business, and we will take steps to assure the accuracy of the Personal Data in our custody and management.

We will treat all Personal Data in our possession as confidential, and take reasonable precautions designed to prevent inappropriate or unauthorized disclosure of Personal Data.

Furthermore, we will not use Personal Data in our possession for purposes that are incompatible with the purposes for which we received the Personal Data unless affected individuals are appropriately consulted.

We will not transfer Personal Data to third parties, except as required in our business, and provided those third parties preserve the confidentiality of Personal Data and use it only for the purposes provided.

We will deal fairly with persons whose Personal Data is in our custody and management.

In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application.

Does a third party see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

Yes, We disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

as required by law, such as to comply with regulations for reporting international transfers or similar legal process;

when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;

with our trusted partners who for instance process your payments outside our institution.

What are your data protection rights?

Treasury would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights.

Every user is entitled to the following:

The right to access – You have the right to request for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.

The right to rectification – You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request to complete the information you believe is incomplete.

The right to erasure – You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions and in line with the regulations relevant for a financial institution.

The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions and which may end the usability of the application

The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to Our Company’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to data portability – You have the right to request that Our Company transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

We will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter as mandated by law. We may retain Automatically Collected information for up to 24 months and thereafter may store it in aggregate. If you’d like us to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact us at privacy@winstantpay.com, and we will respond in a reasonable time. Please note that some or all of the User Provided Data may be required in order for the Application to function properly.

Children

We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 18. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at privacy@winstantpay.com. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.

Security

We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. Likewise, we provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Application. Please be aware that, although we endeavor to provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here and informing you via email, in-app message or text message.

Your Consent

By using the Application, you are consenting to our processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. "Processing,” means using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information.
